Jim was an American Soldier who is among the only survivors of a Metal Beast attack. He is a supporting character in the first half of the Getter Robo Go manga.

Jim was somewhat of an optimist, having full confidence in the Getter Crew, and apologizing on the behalf of his Sergeant and his narcissistic comments. He also forms a very good relationship with Gai Daido over the course of time.
