The Newts were amongst the many deadly and bizzare creatures used by the Dinosaur Empire to try and destroy the Getter Robo.
Appearence[]
The were slightly larger than regular newts, but other than that they all looked identical to regular newts.
Powers and Abilites[]
The Newts moved like a swarm and were capable of rotting away a person's mind and using them like a zombie. They are also more intelligent having a developed brain similar to a humans, allowing complex thought.
History[]
The newts were sent in the direction of the Saotome Institute in order to destroy their research on Getter Rays. Overwhelming the institute's defenses, they attack and take control some of the staff to attack Dr. Saotome, Michiru, and Ryoma Nagare. They manage to escape the institute by boarding the Getter Machine Eagle which incinerated their pursuers.
